Does anyone step by step instructions on how to make a braided headband with ribbon with pictures? I would be using plastic headbands. Also what size and type of ribbon works best?

If you can not find instructions using plastic, use instructions written for leather or even cord. Braiding works about the same.
Be careful when you reach the outside of the braid, in leather you would keep the same side up, in ribbon you would normally fold the ribbon so the other sides comes up, at about an 45 degree angle.

I assume you use string in these instructions, so I do not talk about keeping the right side up or folding at the edge.
It might be better for you to try out braiding with string, shoe string/laces will work good for that, so you know what you are doing before you start on headbands.
(If I can find any sites that showing braiding with ribbon I will add them here, (or e-mail you if you have your mail open,) but I can not search for them till tomorrow.)
