Hi all, was wondering what is the best heating oil company in the virginia area. I used griffith for the past few years and it seems that their policys keep changing. They initially give you a great rate to sign up with them then get you on automatic delivery and give you a massive bill! Currently doing some research on which company to go with if you all can give your suggestions that would be great.

Originally, we used Woodfin Oil. They are big and they provide a lot of services. However, it took forever to get an appointment with them. We left them because they started screwing up our billing. We would pay online, and they would loose the records of the payment. One time we paid twice by accident, once online and once when they called and said that the bill was late. They never corrected the error.
I am currently with Hungerford at this time. I did not have to wait so long for an appointment for them to service our oil furnace. They will split the oil billing over 12 months. This is my first year of using them, but I have had no complaints so far.
