well Mr Orlando Resident, i'm a michigan Resident and it can be DAMN cold, my hands were turning blue

and i can honestly, say, even when we do have warm water, i know of a few coworkers who don't wash their hands anyway...

No. Why punish your coworkers. Would you like the people you work with to take the same stance?
Disgusting.
I DO feel your pain, though...I live in the Canadian Prairies :) I know how painful cold water can be.

Ohhh I struggle with this in my office. We do not have hot water. I DO wash my hands though, but grudgingly. I must be part cat. I can't stand the cold water as I am in a cold state but I'm not going to not wash my hands. There is too much sickness that can be spread if you don't.

I can't believe how may restaurants don't have hot or warm water in their bathrooms. Isn't this what kills the germs?
And what about offering hand sanitizer? Then I just get DEAD germs on my food instead of live ones?
My daughters high school has no water in the bathrooms! I think this is WRONG!

Hold your lighter under the pipes to heat the water a bit.
Otherwise, after every bathroom break, rub your hand across the bosses face on the way back to your desk

While I think you have a great case to balk (I lived in OH and winters are c o l d) and warm water kills germs.. not washing your hands is a health issue for you too - so you are punishing yourself - and others - but do not give up the fight.

You just gotta wash your hands like a guy...Turn on the water and run your hands through back and forth like twice. Walla! Clean hands! lol

I would complain to HR about this...that is just down right wrong...and they need to fix that. That is a health concern if you have the Department of Health come out and inspect it~
