Is there a special microphone i should buy?
Do i need a sound card other than the one i got with my motherboard (intel dg33bu)?

I already have a recording microphone( Behringer) but even on the loudest volume level the sound is very faint and i have to scream into to actually hear a sound...

adjust the microphone volume, but not too loud or you'll record alot of noise too. Good microphone reduce noise, but most computer microphone out there are for chatting so I doubt there's any difference.

Maybe you want to get a good karaoke mic? lol.

I think you mic should be fine though. Use Audacity, its a free audio software, test your recording, try adjust the mic volume, and watch the audio graph, make sure its not too high until there's clipping

In this software, it comes it an amplification feature, so you don't have to record your voice very loud, just as long as its audible, that will do. Just use the amplification function, so you won't record too much noise this way.

you need a microphone built into your computer, and if you do then you can do it without hardware
