I wouldn't be scared, just more bored because I'm so used to having everything practically at my doorstep.

I grew up in the city, & still live in the same city. I wouldn't want to live in the country. Yes, I do think I would be afraid. I like close neighbors who keep an eye out for each other. Also, nearby police, firemen, hospitals, garbage pick-up, snow removal, & the convenience are just a few things I wouldn't want to live without.

Lived in the country for most of my childhood. Go out there every weekend to visit my parents. All my brothers live in the country with their families. Nice and quite. sometimes i just need to get away from the psychopaths in the city. I'm not afraid of either. There are crazy people wherever you go and some pets in the city are more wild then animals in the country.

Not me. Grew up in the city, and now live in the country with a horse farm next door. Love it.

Some city folk are afraid because a lot of the conveniences that can be found in the city are sometimes not available in the country.

I was born and grew up in London. I left at 25 to marry my sweetheart and we moved to Godalming (40 minutes outside London). We are now contemplating a move (because of work) to Dorset and I am ready for it!! Bring on the country!! I do love cities and all my family are in London and lots of my friends, so I get to go back enough to meet the need!

I feel much safer in the city than I do in rural America. There are parts of this country I don't even like to fly over.
