6^3 = 6*6*6
4^2 = 4*4
10^4 = 10*10*10*10


(a/b)^n = (a^n)/(b^n)
(3/2)^2 = (3^2)/(2^2) = 9/4 = 2.25


With roots you have to use a calculator.

you can use your calculator. if you don't have one , you can use approximation method by trying the neighbouring number and taking the average of the resulting answer each time but it will be time consuming
