Last spring I was a Top Contributor. Then I stopped baby sitting for the summer because at home I only have dumb ole dial up and didn't get to do YA! very much. I have been "back" since the middle of August and I answer a LOT of Q's and mostly in P&S. Why have I not gotten the Top Contributor Badge back?

Is this a fairly new rule? I have never been higher than 7% even when I WAS a TC. (She sniffs in indignation at the unfairness of it).

I don't think in Polls and Surveys it has a damn thing to do with your percentage of BA's. We are simply P&S and don't need anyone to even know how smart or witty we are.

Hi! ● To become a contributor you should get a better response rate of 10% (at least) in any particular section or category. Approximately 25 best answers in two weeks. ● You must actively participate in the category of choice. ● Choose a category where you have experience ● Try to answer a lot and correctly. Contribute all you can to the questioner, so that the user is satisfied with the response ● You can excel in three categories (taking the best answers, the largest number). ● However, the orange sign, is not permanent, may appear or disappear depending on their participation in the category. ● Therefore, if you stop being active the poster disappears Greetings!

I thought you had to have at least 10% best answers - may be not. And there are no more top contributor badges awarded in P&S any more. Probably because we chat too much and don't give serious answers to serious questions.

It's all about Best Answer Percent. You need to have over 10% Best Answers. You are only at 6%.

Not only have they stopped giving those out to us P&Sers (I was one too, and proud), when I went to the Yahoo mtg the other week, staff member Jane said P&S "isn't even a real category."!!! As you can see, I'm not in jail b/c i didn't slap her the way I wanted to.

Your best answer percentage is too low. I forget what the percentage has to be, because like you, I left for several months and lost mine. I think it has to be at least 10%, but like I said, can't remember the exact number.

They don't give TC badges anymore for P&S users.
They say we don't give quality questions & answers.

probably because of the same reason why people get violation notices for no reason. i think yahoo plays favorites on here. i have over 24,300 answers and 95% of them are here in polls and surveys. good luck.
