Sure can.
Both my pickups have a combined total of 30 miles in 2 years.

It's my motorcycle I can't live without, it seems.
I started driving the kid's car on Wednesday, and today, not even a whole week later, I just had to ride.

Not at all. Where I live, there is no public transportation. I live on a 300-acre ranch way out in the country, and driving is the only option. I'd have to walk/bicycle 12 miles to the post office, and that's the closest thing to me! The nearest town is 20 miles away.

To do without the car for a month, no great hardship. But to do without permanently would require huge re-organizing of our lives. Obviously when the oil runs out, we'll all have to go back to horses and pushbikes.

Yes but it would be difficult. I live 10 miles from work. If it was in the summer I could get a bicycle and get a lot of exercise.

Absolutly not.

It's a 55 mile drive one way to work.
25 miles from work to school.
25 miles from school back to home.

Plus the fact that we don't have any form of public transportation here, that would be a major stab in the foot.

Yes, I could... as long as I still have my truck and my motorcycle. It's 15 miles to the nearest grocery store from where I live, and no public transportation of any kind.

I have a bus pass but only use it for long distances. Still use the car for nearer destinations. can't stand travelling for an hour to get to the nearest store(by bus)

No way. I'm never taking the bus or metro to work. My car is my baby. I love my Mustang.
