I would say about 90% of my readings are accurate. I only do advanced spreads for myself at Samhain, and Litha, unless a very serious situation arises and I need some direction. That happened once. I do a daily one card reading every morning, and I journal about it's accuracy that night. People will say that seeing the card will influence your day, etc., and that's true. Sometimes, it goes beyond that. Sometimes the daily reading make zero sense to me. It probaibly lies in my state of mind when I did the reading, it can't be rushed. Still, 90% is pretty good. I only read for friends and family, for no charge, and ALL of those have been accurate. However, the tarot is an ongoing learning oppurtunity, and I learn new things from it all the time.

Haven't done any for years and years. I wasn't very good at readings, but I worked on the principle, taught me by a real expert, that the cards are a symbol system, and it's what your mind does with the symbols that brings things to your attention.

That is, I don't regard this as particularly supernatural. And since I am well aware that the cards were developed for games before they were applied to divination, that fits.

To answer your question, yes, I had some that proved quite accurate, and some that the subjects told me were accurate. The last two I remember began with one done for my own benefit, which was spot on and pointed me to some useful directions for further consideration.

When I tried immediately for a second one, I quickly realized that the cards seemed to be telling me (which means, following the principle described above, that I was telling me) to stop trying to dig further, because I'd already gotten my answers.

I'd say 8 to 90 percent of my readings are right on the money. the rremainder tend to be close while not 100% accurate. Like everythng else, it takes years of practice and familiarity with the cards to get good at it.

i'm always surprised that something as cheesey sounding as an on-line reading is remarkably on-point.

i generally get a celtic cross using the rider-waite deck, and include a word or two to identify the situation/reading.

All of mine are 100% accurate, because I don't read tarot cards at all. That's the best way to ensure perfect accuracy, and I suggest you try it.

My wife and me had one when we were dating and it was perfectly accurate.

My wife has had accurate ones but her one friend can never do it accurately for her.

Yes, but they are the ones that I do for myself, and usually I'm just asking for clarification on the obvious.
