i was watching tv last night and saw footage of britney spears stealing a cigarette lighter, than saying to the photographers, "ooh, i stole something. i'm so bad." the store owner/manager said he wasn't going to do anything bc she'd probably come back and buy something. then, the photographers went back to pay for the lighter. too bad charges can't be filed. that girl needs to be locked up. who steals from a store, and in front of photographers?????

A paparazzi went and paid for it. I used to feel really sorry for her and now I think she is just a raving mad lunatic. She needs to go to the mental hospital. She is so childish and disrespectful. I bought that stupid album because I felt sorry for her and now I regret it.

I think the fact that there are so many questions about her and so much attention paid to her is far more offensive. Not coming down on you or anything because as is the case with most train wrecks, you just can't look away and have to watch it unfold with morbid fascination. That being said, all these celebrity's are like spoiled children - stop paying attention to them and they'll stop what they're doing.

i didn't hear about that but i think that's really really dumb. She only did it because she knows that she can get away with it. And what kinda example is she setting for her kids? They're gonna think if mommy does drugs, and drives drunk, and steals then so can we. They're gonna grow up with the attitude that if their mom is above the law, then they're gonna think that they are too. It's just so sad. :(
