Ron Paul-I'm not racist. I was just quoting a con question that was on here before Thompson acutally registered. Those were the words of a Conservative.

It's funny how they keep switching isn't it. First it was Giuliani and then it was Thompson and now it's Huckabee.
Romney never stood a chance because he is (GASP) a mormon.
Thompson in my opinion was built up too much and took his everloving sweet time getting in the game and when he did it was painfully obvious that he had nothing more to offer than what they already heard.
The truth of the matter is they don't have anything different except for Ron Paul and just because he has liberal followers they will shun him away too. It's very sad.

I wasn't ever really a Thompson supporter. I do like how the Republican party has a group of viable options for their candidate and they are going through the process to pick the right one. Unlike the Dem's who chose two Junior Senators with hardly any experience and one of which has already bought and paid for the nod. Not all that impressive.

He's still in there swinging. I heard him on the radio this morning. But, not surprisingly, now that there is less mystery around him, a lot of the excitement has waned.

Thompson is too old to be President in my opinion. I never believed he was serious about this whole thing and he's standing up to that belief.

Thompson has absolutely no passion.

I think he is just running because he has nothing better to do.

He's never stood a chance.
