No, It will only encourage back street abortions. I am against abortions but we live in a world where we have the freedom of choice.

Actually, the Abortion Act 1967 (as amended) is the present Act in force on the statute books.

So I don't understand the question.

Unless it's a trick question - in which case all of the above fell for it....

(Sarcasm) Why basically the Abortion Act 1967? How approximately repealing the Slavery Act of 1865? Slavery is condoned with the help of Jeeeeesus and his dad. What approximately reforming basic regulation and making homicide criminal if slaughtering heathens and non-believers contained in the Bible? shall we've those preverted homiosexuals stoned alongside with naughty young babies. deliver decrease back human sacrifice! Jephtah gave God his little woman as an offering and God enjoyed it very plenty! Yeah, i'm in contact with Christian values! (Sarcasm)

Abortion should be available, safe, legal, and ideally rare.

In Ireland, abortion is illegal. So what happens? Those that can afford it come to the UK to have an abortion, those that can not have kids they can not bring up instead.

When abortion was illegal, women died because of having back street abortions. Do you really want a return back to tose days?

No..........women have abortions for many reasons and its not for anyone else to judge or decide if that woman can have an abortion or not.

All who dont agree with abortion must just get over it. At the end of the day there is nothing you can do about it so dont let it wind you up.

WHY?
Do you think that there are not enough unwanted children in poor/disadvantaged/underaged/drug abuser parent situations who grow up to be crazy or criminal?

Without counting the MASSIVE human overpopulation of the planet.

Children should only be born where they are wanted. There is nothing more terrible than to know your parent/s hate you!

A fetus is not a baby!
If you think that a blood clot is the same as a baby, then you should not use contraception either, as every ovum and every sperm could be a baby.

Abortion is bad for everyone involved in it.............

The "back-street abortion" thing that was one of the main pro-abortion arguments is a myth............

They said that "thousands of women" were dying as a result of botched back-street abortions.......

Of course when people die in England there is a death certificate with a cause of death explained - If you check the state pathologists records you will discover that very very few people died as a result of backstreet abortions in the years leading up to the abortion act....

Abortion eliminates choices because it is a permanent "solution" to what might be a temporary "problem"..

bad, bad, bad

Yes and no.
Reasons:
Back street abortions would be more common.
More kids dummped into foster care.
Yes:
So they have to either have the baby and so on and provide for it and care for it and not dump it in foster care. THERE IS ONLY TWO LEGIT REASONS FOR THAT:
Rape.
The family can NOT support the child because of something that happend whilst the mother was pregnant.

No
Think of all the horrendous back street abortions that used to happen.
It would just be the same again

People should be able to make choices

I think better, more sympathetic counselling is needed

it's cool to kill

just turn the baby around and so it's nice and legal... then jam a knife in it's brain. Stupid legal technicalities...

***Planned parenthood won't offer the "fetus" anesthetics, even though it's been proven that the baby feels pain.
