Personally, I think it's a crock of sh*t and most people are showing up to see Oprah.....
Just wondering if I'm the only that thinks that way!

To the guy below that said I was biased against black people. Kinda ignorant that you would make that judgement about me when you don't know me whatsoever. I like Guiliani. Huckabee wants to completely eliminate taxes and I'm not sure how that is possible. Obama doesn't have enough experience to run an entire country.
If that makes me biased towards black people, then so be it. I'm biased....

I don't really care, she's free to endorse whichever candidate she feels is best.

I agree that most people show up to see Oprah, but most people are also pretty stupid and very easily led by the nose. Oprah's endorsement equates to a giant stamp of approval that may blind the simple masses. Obama scored big with this one, especially since Oprah has never supported another presidential candidate.
I'm waiting to see how this will affect Oprah's own celebrity. The fact that she is endorsing a black man over a white woman when a majority of her audience is middle class white women makes me wonder if there will be some kind of repercussion from her core demographic.

I think she is backing Obama because she believes he is sincere and incorruptible.
Most people seem to think this about Obama. Even a cynic who was cynical about him (and about everything) thinks he is sincere. The only thing the cynic could say that was cynical about him was that he will probably be killed.
Let's hope that that doesn't happen.
Let's hope that he gets into power, avoids getting assassinated, remains incorruptible and changes things for the better.
Oprah is pretty smart. She is probably right about Obama.
It is time we have a black president who is also a sincere person. It is time we have an incorruptible president, and if he is black - well, all the better!
I also think she is right about Hillary.
...and just for the record - I am a white woman and I don't really believe in politics or politicians...
but maybe Obama will be able to make a difference - and he should be given the chance to try...

I think it's a free country. (But not as free as it could be)
I think it will have a positive affect, how much I don't know.
I think she is helping him because she believes he is the best man for the job. I have no problem with that.
What about Chuck Norris supporting Huckabee?
I think your question comes from your bias against black people, or women.
I think Oprah brings attention to him, but people should make up their own minds. I've made up mine.

#2 Barack Obama
I hope for the opportunity to vote for one.
I'm positive we need a president with more intelligence and better judgment than GW Bush
I think Judgment is more important than experience.

i'm confident they the two think of is a reliable subject. rather some human beings like and admire Oprah, and hear what she says. yet, i do no longer understand if she will convince everybody to vote for him. that's a call, I and that i'm hoping others, does not take gently. No, Oprah campaining for Obama, does not make me desire to vote for him in any respect.

i don't think about it. But people should realize that Oprah has no better ideas than the rest of us. She is an entertainer and that is it. She doesn't possess any unique skills to make her qualified to tell anyone who to vote for. She can back whoever she wants. If people vote for Obama just because Oprah says to, then its not Oprah's fault. Its the people who vote because she says so, who are the problem.

What do I think of Oprah campaigning for Obama, not much! I guess race is more important to Oprah than gender for the White House.

Michelle and Barack Obama, and Oprah have a relationship that goes back to his days as an Illinois Senator and before. They attend the same Christian church in Chicago.
I think it's great. She can support whoever she wants to.
