No, the fact is 'I' would know and regardless of how much I really wanted to give a few people a thrashing in my life, its just not right.

I currently have no "enemy" to whom I bear such a level of malice. However, if there were anyone who I perceived to be such a severe danger that he or she would have to be harmed in such a way, sure, probably. But in truth the getting away with it issue is secondary. If someone was threatening enough to my family, for example, that I viewed it necessary to remove him through an act of violence, I doubt I would be deterred by the prospect of incarceration or censure. And I certainly would not lower my standards for protectiveness and vengefulness in homicide merely for the convenience of facing no consequences.

No, simply because the fact that even my worst enemy has a mother, father, sisters, brothers, family and friends that do not deserve the anguish of loosing a loved one.

Although, I may think the world would be a better place without him or her it is arrogant to think that they will not be deeply missed by many.

I don't really have a worst enemy!! I can't think of anyone I hate that much except for a few politicians I think the world would be better off without!! But hopefully someone else would get there first and I wouldn't have to dirty my own hands!!

In my case, the real question is, would anyone miss Bush, or Blair, or Rumbled head-felt, or Condescending notso-nice.

Still you seemed to suggest only one was allowed. I must have misread it as saying kill all the wankers you know.

Only with sufficient incentive. I would never kill someone just because I dislike him, but if he killed my family (or something equally atrocious, without justification) then I probably would kill him out of revenge. But I would probably suffer guilt all the same.

No, why would I want to take the chance of ever being caught and spend the rest of my life behind bars. No crime is perfect and even if it took 50 yrs, you will eventually be caught.

I am sure this will be classed as the same question and you will get the same answers.

As I said on the other question - I could never kill anyone on purpose

I would certainly feel like it but I think when it came to pulling the trigger/sticking the knife in, my humanitarian instincts would probably click in and I would probably just kick them hard instead and walk away.
