Was wanting your feedback on whether you think the lame duck Falcons will re-sign Michael Vick in 2009, prior to his jail time?

I think it'll depend on where the franchise is at the time. I think they are going to try and procede as if he's never coming back, they'll try to get a Qb in the first round this year and go from there. If Atlanta can start doing that, then they won't resign him. If, however, the Falcons are still a team that is trying to rebuild, they might resign him and give him a second chance.

I dont think the Falcons will take another chance with Michael Vick, but I guarenteee you someone else will...Possibly my Miami Dolphins..Hell, we allowed Ricky Williams to mess up 500 times and he came back...Michael vick is 5 times better than Ricky, so why wouldn't people take a chance on him...He messed up, served his time, let the man live his life and earn his way back.

That contract he signed with them was for 10 years, $130 million. then this happens, and he not only cost the Falcons a lot of money and the next couple of seasons, he blatantly lied to the owner, his teammates, and his fans. So I seriously doubt the falcons will want to risk the negative publicity again. At most he will be with anothe franchise as a backup quarterback and that's it. His superstardom days are over.

I dont think so. Arthur Blank stood by Vick through everything else. I dont think he will forgive him for this. A team would have to be in shambles to take a risk on Vick. No because he hasnt played in two years; but because it will be a PR circus going on around him 24/7.

However, if Miami is still winless in 2009, they might take a chance on him.

like every1's said theres no way he'll be on atlanta cuz every1 at atlanta has said they're moving on but vick will play in the league again.. he can stay in shape strength wise while in jail but it'll take another year or two after hes out to get back in shape in a football sense as well as conditioning wise.. many analysts have said he'll be back in the league basically cuz of the high demand for qbs.. look at the teams playing well and their qb's.. manning, brady, favre, romo, etc.. vick has proven he can produce in the nfl and if he proves hes a changed man and can still produce at the nfl level there will be a couple teams that'll take a chance with him but hes got a lot of work to make up

He might be banned from playing. If he played again, the Falcons wont want him. He would give the team a bad reputation

big fat NO. you r not allowed to play football in jail. if you don"t work out or play football for 1 year, your body will not function the same as before. you will spend more time recovering and applying ben-gay to heal your muscles. there is no magic to it. it part of nature.

No because they won't be able to afford losing him again. Besides he ain't that good of a quarter back anyways.

No. Even if he does happen to get reinstated by the league (which I would be surprised if he does).
