I think GWB thought he could hide all his lies until after '09. The flood gates are opening, there will be more to come.

Water boarding is only torture to liberals. And then only if it's a Republican that does it.

Is it really torture? I've been through rougher at a fraternity and chiefs initiation. And having been through Navy SEER school so I really know what water boarding is and what it is not. Is it extremely uncomfortable? Yes. Does it scare the hell out of you? Yes. Does it convince you in a very short time they are going to kill you if you don't tell them something they want to hear? Yes. Is it something you would want to experience? Not no, but HELL NO!

What is the big fuss over waterboarding? I'd rather the whole world know I prefer waterboarding over the following: beheading, dislocating or breaking bones, electric shock, or anything else you want to list that actualy causes death or injury.

Why did the CIA destroy tapes? Just to make liberals ask that question. Liberals will find a witch even if one doesn't exist. If a witch doesn't exist they will make one up. The reason they destroyed the tapes had nothing to do with legality but secure intelligence. IF the tapes hadn't been destroyed and they have been shown to Congress some ID10T would leak it for what ever reason.

Why did those leading Democrats who knew about water-boarding think it was OK then but they don't now? Only one of the ones briefed that raised any questions and she's not in favor with the Democrats at the moment, she's too moderate.

I can't really tell you why but according to Gen Hayden, Hayden told CIA employees that "the leaders of our oversight committees in Congress were informed of the videos years ago and of the Agency's intention to dispose of the material. Our oversight committees also have been told that the videos were, in fact, destroyed."

Now did he notify the entire Congress? No. But should he have to? No. So what is your problem?

There's lots of things that have gone on during time of war that the public has not been told or has been lied to about. My question to the American public is " why do we care about treatment of the detainees ?" They are there for a reason ..... they killed Americans !!!! Why don't we as Americans show out outrage about what the Germans, Japanese, Koreans, Vietnamese, etc. have done to our POW's and the American people? It seems that other countries can torture, maim and kill our people and it's okay but " don't let it happen here" !

simulated drowning is not torture because they are not beating the person and there is no real harm done. same case with sleep deprevation. The CIA destroyed he tapes in order to protect the identities of the interegators. Plus you can fight a gentleman's war with these people, they're worse! There ha not benn a successful attack on american soil since 9-11 and that is becase of hat the CIA and NSA are doing: Good job guys!

I do not believe that water-boarding is torture, and it is appropriate in some cases.
