Am I the only person who just loves people who are gay/lesbian!? I just think its adorable haha and I mean they obviously don't care what people think, which is awesome because I hate how society has brainwashed people into think whatevers right is right. I'm not a lesbian, but of course I'm always accused of being one because of the way I feel about this. Isn't that dumb? People believe, "Well if she likes gay people she must be one." because no one else who isn't, hates them? Is that REALLY what people think?? And whenever someone says something like, "I imagine you kissing a girl" to my friends, or something like that they say, "Ew!" I would understand if it was a specific girl whose gross lol but not "girl" in general. Its so annoying. And wtf, why can't gays/lesbians get married?? I mean WTF?! Honestly have you noticed they stay together the longest? I mean look at famous people, the guys and girls break up but a lot of lesbians are still together. Obviously that's better for their kids (if they adopt) instead of having parents divorcing all the time. And I hate how parents say "my only son/daughter is a lesbian! no grandkids!" HELLO, their are ways. You can adopt, there are sperm donors. I mean if my kid was gay I'd be pretty excited haha, it would be nice in my opinion. But if they were straight then ok because I don't judge people. I believe you should just be yourself and who cares what everyone else thinks. Agree, or disagree??

Let me guess .. you are about 12.
We are ALL "adorable"? Do you realise that we are all individual human beings with individual personalities? Gosh, it's almost like we are real people ...

I for one have admit that I don't understand your love. but it is love. and that is precious. if people learn about your side and how you feel they could better understand. We come from a confused mixed up world were anything strange or unusual are hated because they don't understand. I am not gay, but I have some gay friends who I have asked why are you like that why don't like the opposite sex. Not out of mean I but just want to know. I am also a christain which I been taught that it is wrong. But in the bible it is said not too hate anyone that is different than us. The world have a lot of problems and troubles on top of troubles because we don't what we want to do. and we so confused it not silly. We can't get along with anyone gay, straight,or even ourselves. Maybe one day we will understand and not be so judgmental on our fellow men or women.

To asker: you my dear, are what's known as a "**** hag" but not a lot of people find us as fascinating as you do.
to Chester: you make an excellent point. If JB had done any actualy research, JB would have found that the entire reason gays have higher incidences of mental disorders is because of the hatred and discrimination we face. the higher STD rates are linked to the higher promiscuity, and that is caused by the same psychological influences as any slutty straight person. there are two sides to every coin.
and to magnetic_azumith: you seem to be contradicting yourself. you say that "everyone deserves the same rights and to be treated with respect" but that we gays do not deserve the right to get married because we're asking for a special privilege? since when is marraige a special privilege? as far as i know, any heterosexual couple can go down to a court house and get married without any sort of background check to make sure that they deserve the privilege of marriage. you have a pretty little package that talks about fairness and equal treatment, but inside, you're just as much of a bigot as a KKK member.

You've put a great deal of thought into this...a bit extreme, actually. I don't "love" gays and lesbians (which seems a tad bizarre) any more than I "love" heterosexuals. The fact that you singled out this particular group of people means you see them as being totally different as human beings and that is troublesome. Unless, of course, this "love" is really a fascination-attraction...whihc is fine, but just come out and say so. No need to be coy.

the comprise about 2 % of the population but are given special status on the basis of sexual preference as if that is something unique.
i do not have the time to explain all the problems with legalizing marriage, it is complex and strikes at the heart and soul of a nation. the nuclear family as it were, raised by 2 involved parents, male and female are what make a nation strong.
this nation has lost much of that and is losing more everyday. we are slipping into a state where soon you will need cops everywhere if the nation survives that long.
a nation's strength is based on moral values not on the rights of a very few individuals. all people must have the same rights, not just a few
murder is a hate crime regardless of gender preference. so why is killing a gay more evil than killing a hetrosexual?
i do not share your views and i hope that you will learn why preferences are at odds with the nations well being, while not taking up hating anyone
hatred of homosexuals is as wrong as granting them special rights. they are people, they deserve to be treated as people and with the respect, honor and care of the rest of our population. any thing else is unacceptable, wrong and definately unamerican.

I like some gay/lesbian people but not because they are gay/lesbian, I like them because they are nice people. I know some that I don't like and it's not because they are gay/lesbian it's because they're jerks.
The fact that someone is gay/lesbian is only part of who they are; you wouldn't say that all straight people are the same would you? Being heterosexual only tells people that I like people of the opposite sex; it doesn't tell what type of person I am.

well most of the people who do not like gay/ lez, are usually themselves gay. i know this from experiance, because i found out my dad was gay, and when i told him i was a lez he flipped out. most people are afraid of them because they are not like everyone in society. The society thinks that a normal person has to have a partner of the opposite sex, and all of that stuff. I personally think it is not fair, and it is really pregidous of people to be like that. if they have problems with gay people, then they have problems. that is their opinion, just like you and i have one. they are entitled to say and think what they want, just like we are. I do not consider homophobes any different from gay people, because we are all people, and as long as we are happy, and in love, i do not htink that it should matter. so yes in short i agree with you.

Shoot I don't care if someones gay/lesbian there just people. My gosh if they choose to be that let them be that, but if a girl hits on me then I would get pissed. I am straight so you know that wouldn't work, but I love gay guys there awesome! Gay girls are cool to as long as they don't hit on me. One of my best friends is a lesbian as a matter of fact. ^-^
