As an Indians fan, I was disgusted that the Marlins bought the 1997 World Series and then conducted a fire sale. The Dolphins, however, are another story. I actually grew up admiring the Fins and went to a game at what was then called Joe Robbie Stadium. Yes - I was there to see Don Shula and Dan Marino. I live in Cleveland and now basically follow the Browns. I do hope the Fins win a game, or two, this season. Beating the Pats would just bring down the house. I remember cheering when the Fins beat the 1985 Bears, the only team to do so that year. This year I feel bad for Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor. Those guys are warriors and have to just feel totally sick of all the losing. I also feel bad for Ted Ginn, Jr. - after so many years on winning teams it must be hell to be a rookie on what must feel like the Titanic. As for the Marlins, if they lost all their games, I would be quite pleased. I never miss an opportunity to harass any Marlins fans I might see at Jacobs Field but I think that only happened once and it was just some old dude who probably got the Marlins jersey from the Goodwill store.

You mean the 130 or so people that reppin the Marlins, did you watch any of their game, almost all the seats were empty, it is outragous. Yeah, the ownership is iffy, but for a team that won the world series 4 years ago, and has won just as many World Series's as Boston over the past 80 years, you'd think there would be a little pride there, but there just doesn't seem to be.

I'm from MN and to be honest, I'm not crazy about the Dolphins. BUT, I will say this...I do think the Marlins will have a very good young team for the next couple years. But seriously, I'm only rooting for the Dolphins to go 0-16!

The Marlins have bad ownership. They have won two world series and should have built from that but instead they chose the wrong path. Don't care for the Dolphins and hope they never win again.
