I received two violation notices today for "not being an answer or question". I did answer questions and challenged the violation notices. Will they respond? Should I be upset that I've been violated like this? I'm really a good person....really I am!

i get violation notices sometimes too when i do nothing wrong, and ask nice things unlike others :(
they prob wont respond

You can expect to receive a thank you note for contacting them.
I asked one question in two separate categories and received a violation notice for only one. There is no rhyme or reason to their notices.

When I challenged a really silly violation they responded but I didn't win.

One day i got tons of violations. The violations idiots were out harrassing yahoo i assume. Dont take it personal. Remember people are the ones on Yahoo Answers, and alot of time people are stupid.

Yes you will get a response via email but it will be an automated response which will always say in a polite way too bad and tough luck.
There is no real investigation at all.
