you see that 16g of CH4 correspond to 36g of water
so to have 100g of water you need
100*16/36 =44.4g of CH4
This corresponds to 44.4/16 =2.778moles
As carbon tetrahydride is a gas , it is impossible to give the volume since you need the temperature of the experiment. At 0C 1 mole is 22.4l so 2.778*22.4=62.2L
