..If you disobey my laws you will burn in Hell forever.
Would those laws eliminate crime if the monarch was unable to inforce his laws? Would his inability to enforce his laws invalidate his power? Does history support Jesus as a supreme deity? Did ancient people actually believe that Jesus was an all powerful deity? If so, when did his deity end?

Well, first of all, the word is ENFORCE, not inforce.

You forgot a key part, though. It is true that God said, "Obey my laws, you'll go to heaven. Disobey any of them, even once, and you will burn in hell forever."

What you forgot was that God took such compassion on us that Jesus was sent to earth to redeem us and make us perfect in the sight of God.

History DOES support jesus as a deity. When he died, the government official (Roman soldier) who executed him remarked, "Truly this man WAS the Son of God."

We Christians believe that His deity has not ended, and will never end. We believe that those who believe His promise of eternal life through Him will be with Him forever, and those who do not will be separated from Him forever.

If people honestly belived that the monarch had surveilance or some other means to deal with those who disobey, it would be a crime deterrent, even if justice weren't quick. If they really believed that the criminals they saw doing crimes were going to get theirs, and that there was a good to certain chance of getting caught at any crime, they'd think twice before living that way. I'm not sure what the 'inability to enforce' has to do with the real world (trial and punishment by God for sins are something we have no evidence about in this world--it is just as hard to disprove hells existence as it is to prove it). Generally speaking though, if a law is unenforceable it will be followed by those who think it is right and ignored by those who don't.

As for Jesus being seen as a deity in his time--he wasn't. The gospels are pretty clear on this--except for some people who knew Jesus personally, almost no one believed he was messiah, son of man, son of god or anything like that. He was a holy man who operated outside the day's organization of religion who had a reputation as a healer. There is only one place in the Bible where Jesus admits to being any of those divine titles, and another place where he implies it. Throughout most of Jesus' life as told by the gospels, we aren't even sure he knows he is the son of God--when you read a gospel you start to see his faith in himself grow, as he realizes how large his role is in God's plan.

Talking of deity, who in the world told you that JESUS Christ is a deity? Better go read the book of GOD then you gonna have enough knowledge about Christ instead of calling him a deity. One more thing, the monarchy wont try something like that either.
