I have to agree with you on this one. I think that the credibility of the subject has taken a bashing due to certain English TV programs fronted by ex blue peter presenters. They make a laughing stock of what is a very divided subject I think.

I agree! This topic is really interesting. But is seems society is ignoring this for some reason. There are som many evidences that there really exist phenomena that has nothing to do with the world as we know it.Telepathy, mind reading, seeing the future...it has all happened to me. And I do have witnesses. Yet...people just want to believe I am lying or imagine things. What can we do about it? How do we wake up to another reality? Oh, it is such a shame that people deny facts that are so apparent.

I wish i could help you but i cant, i thought more people would be interested in this subject, but maybe no-one else shares your enthusiasm. If you've only just posted it, give it a while sometimes response can be slow, seeing as your subject is so specialised, people might not know much about it. Try typing in your question into google...hope it works!

I agree with you. But in the other hand, you have to realize that many sciences that are not exact such as parapsychology, that studies many things about paranormal phenomena, haven't advanced in many topics.
Many people are not interested in parapsychology, but fortunately, there are some people that are.
I'm one of that kind of people, I am 17 years old and I'm from Mexico city, but I have studied parapsychology since I was 13.

Science and technology provides explanation for all sort of paranormal phenomena.
If a paranormal phenomena has scientific explanation then becomes a hoax and people loves to joke and talk about.
You have to be a believer that we have a soul, that become a spirit when he die.
And people nowadays has no religion whatsoever.

I know - I was amazed too - not really much going on here. I would have thought that this would be a prime spot for a bit of debate.
In response to you other question - where abouts are you becuase I know the Hampshire Ghost club are always on the look out for people to join their vigils.

My house is haunted I can be home alone on the computer and all of a sudden my Television turns on automatically out of no where. My bed shakes and i hear footsteps and my house is pretty old. there must've been wood when this house was built because in my house there is carpet and i hear footsteps like it was on wood and apprations is what i see too. of human figures I BLEIEVE IN THE GHOSTS AND SPIRITS. AND ISN'T A LOT OF PLACES IN LONDON HAUNTED?

Maybe the majority of people on Yahoo Answers find this topic utter rubbish. I mean, there are no such things as ghosts, and ouiji boards are all in your mind, and I think people are starting to realise this.

I think it's because this section is hidden...behind Science&Math/Alternative...then you go to Paranormal. I accidentally found it. A lot of people go to Mythology &Legends because they don't know about this section...then if they do find it...they see there's not that many people on it and go back to M&L. BUT...if all the people on here today stay on here...we can build it up. !!! The "regulars" come on at different times of the day and night. When I'm on ..usually at night after 10..there's not many people on...and I don't like that either.Another thing is that there are only so many questions to ask when you don't know what to ask. So PLEASE ..start using this section so that we can build it up. Thanks!

There is quite abit of interest here, but I feel Paranormal should be in another section.
There are a lot of "Serious" paranormal ivestigators or at least amatures in this area.
