I believe that everyone should be given a second chance.
Matthew 6:14-15
“Then Peter came to Jesus. ‘Lord, if my brother keeps on hurting me, how many times should I forgive him?’ he asked. ‘Should I forgive him seven times?’
‘No, not just seven times, but forgive him seventy times seven times’, Jesus said.

It depends on him. After he serves his time and proves that he has humbled himself, yes, he should. I'm tired of people saying that he shouldn't because he was a role model, last time I checked there is like 1,440 players in the NFL, you don't have to make him a role model. Look at the Bengals, they are basically a team of "jail birds" and even Adam Jones (Pac man) will be given an opportunity to play again, how many times has he been in trouble with the law?
Besides this case, Vick hasn't really been involved with the law. I say he should be given a second opportunity in the NFL and society, which is more important.

Why? Yes he should be given a second chance to live a normal life in society...but the playing in the NFL is a privilege, not a right. He was given a chance....adored, showered in money...and then he goes and stabs his team, his fans, and the whole NFL in the back, so he can "keep it real". On top of that, he lies to the Commisioner to his face. And in none of his sspeeches has he once expressed regret for what he did to the dogs (yeah..he said he was sorry to let the fans down...but that is about money, not rem, orse).
That said....I think it will be difficult, cause the kind of mind that can torture and kill any living creature for entertainment for at least 6 years...hjas something fundamentally wrong with its psyche...be it from nature (maybe he is a sociopath) or nurture(his conscience is permanantly scarred from his past choices). I think almost everybody deserves a second chance...but why should that include being rich and famous. Time for him to get a real job like the rest of us.
*whatshap....in his case...football? Lets see, he already has more college ed than most of america.....so i dont see where keeping him out of the NFL is depriving him of his livelihood......he can get a job like the rest of us shlubs. The bill of rights guarantees the right to fing employment...not to be a millionaire playing a kids game.

he will probably get returned interior the NFL reason he's a famous guy or woman QB and he brings in money and followers explanation for his unique athleticism on the ultimate place yet might desire to he? i for my area think of that if he facilitates to take care of different canines compelled into scuffling with by way of giving $ to assist it, i think of he will finally end up doing extra sturdy over 10 years of donating than he did inspite of the undeniable fact that long he did the crime. that does no longer mean the two that it became splendid to do what he already did however and that by way of giving $ might make up for it. I say he might desire to have the skill to play returned in elementary terms after he has paid his fines and completed the time, plus extra help to assist defeat this criminal act.

sure he should be given a second chance,i personaly dont think hes that great of a QB,he can run of course and that the only thing that makes him dangerous,I think the best teams have figured out that if you dont pressure him and you keep him in the pocket he becomes a less then average QB,I would say he would be a great running back but he seems like he is prone to injury so its tough to say ,he will be given a second chance no doubt about it but i dont know if i would just hand a QB job ..we will see

How would you feel if you were a 10 year old boy who looked up to this man and heard that he was involved with the deaths of animals purely because they could not win a dogfight? What kind of message does this send to our children? I think that is unforgivable and he has no place being a role model for the youths of America!

idk if i think he deserves one or not but i know he'll be back in the league when hes outta jail.. it may be another year after he gets out cuz although its not as difficult to get stronger and stay in shape that way while in prison, he'll still come out outta shape conditioning wise as well as in a football sense but if u look at the teams that r playing well this year compared to those that aren't it comes down to the qb thats on the field.. brady, manning, favre, romo, etc.. theres a high demand for qbs and vick has proven that he can at least lead a team at times

Hell no! Would you get a second chance if you did something similar? I doubt it.
I say let the guy try to live off the money he's already made...and maybe he'll even have to get a real job. I doubt that will happen though. If I was an NHL GM, I wouldn't even consider picking him up.
