Yes, the devil goes by many names - Abbadon, Angra Mainyu, Satan, Asmodai, Beelzebub, Lucifer, Belial, and Iblis. There are many more but these are just a few.

Yep it is. I guess it sounds more menacing the name "devil." I guess devil is too common.
