There is no "suitable" age to have kids. But you do need to have your life together before you do. Financial Stability, home, good job, be in a stable relationship, and make sure all of the "going out to parties/bars" is out of your system. You also need to mature enough to raise a child.

I don't think there is one "best" age. It's all up to you and how ready you are to be a parent. It's a major commitment, after all and it is a personal decision you need to make. I had mine at 25 and 27, which was perfect for me - I was married, we owned a house and I was not in love with my job, so I looked forward to staying at home with my babies. But, again, taht was me. Not everyone is ready at that age and some were ready earlier. It's all up to the individual.

I was 17 and 19...and I wouldn't change a thing now....
Back then I would have though! I finished school and got a job and took care of my first all by myself until he was a year old. Then I got married and it has been bliss ever since. But, I should have waited until I was more financially stable and even more mature myself! It is hard raising children, even if you are older than I was! The only reason why I love that I had mine young...is so when they have kids I will still be young enough to do things fun with my grandkids.

I don't think age really matters. You just need to get your education done, and get your life on track. Make some good money so you're sure you're able to take care of the kids you have or soon will.

Probably in your middle 20's or older. By then, you have finished your education and are more emotionally and financially able to take on the responsibilities of raising a child.

I believe , one should be mature enough to have a baby. Also, one should be well settled in life . Taking these factors into account, the age for motherhood should be 21+.

biologically speaking, between 20 and 40. psychologically, i suppose that really depends on your own personal growth and state of mind. some people take a long time to mature, others do so more quickly.

I had my first child at 28 and I still don't feel ready. I would at least wait till you are over 20 and as a couple, are finicial established.

12 if your a girl and are married. 19 if your a boy. In Islam and in many other cultures/countries outside the USA a girl is an adult as soon as she gets her first period because her body is able to bear children and give birth. A boy is an adult in Islam as soon as he turns 14 because he is able to get women pregnant @ that age. There are studies shown that babies born to teenagers are smarter then kids who are born to women in their 20s and older.
