When you have to cut and paste something from wiki, that usually means you didn't know the answer, so why did you even click on the question in the first place???

to point gain or if they copy a full eassay length answer from wiki they assume it makes them look knowledgable and worthy of best answer

i don't know.
because people are people and there's all kinds of people and some are trying to be helpful and some are trying to be smarties and some are really stupid and some people just want points for answering.
