I don't change the channel if the Eagles are winning. And if they're losing I change it an odd number of times. I've been changing the channel alot this year.

i broke a mirror before and the next few years of my life was miserable.
The worst one is when i was 11 years old ~ i wanted to go up the stairs and i bumped into a black cat that stared hard at me. I ignored it but 2 mins later, the same black cat got knocked down by a car. I had a terrible time for 2 years after that.
I never want that to happen again!

I have many!! Being the holidays I will list just a few...
Bad luck to have any Christmas decorations up or out after New Years Day.
Eat pork & sour crout for luck on New Years Day
and the main one is...
Put some money or coins under a rug New Years Eve before midnight, leave it over night and take it out before noon New Years Day and you will have money all year round :)

Breaking a mirror will bring you 7 years bad luck
Opening an umbrella indoors is bad luck
Walking under a ladder is bad luck
When your nose itches you will soon get company
When your ear burns someone is talking about you

You have to "knock on wood" so that you don't jynx yourself
A black cat that crosses your path is bad luck
Yeah, my grandma is very old fashioned and hammered this stuff into my brain! lol.

I don't really believe in any, but if I had to pick one, it would be that breaking a mirror brings 7 years of bad luck. I only say that because I've broken a few mirrors and my life sucks!! lol

I am not superstitious at all in fact, Friday the 13th is my lucky day.
I love black cats and I never waste salt by throwing it over my shoulder. I've broken the odd mirror and wasn't bothered by it at all.
As for touching wood, well, now a days its hard to find true wood..it's usually particle board. lol

Dont really believe, but I always through salt over both shoulders when I spill it and I try never to walk under ladders.

Knocking on wood. Only it HAS to be my head and I HAVE to knock 4 times. That is the only one I really give in to.
