when i think of baby dust i think of powdered sperm being sprinkled all over me. Not a pretty thought!

Babydust..
I am not annoyed at it but it is used a lot, I try not to use it bc everyone uses it.
I usually say good luck.

I don't believe it is meant to be rude or anything. I also don't believe it has any thing to do with teeny bopper wanna be moms either. I think whoever started it did it because when you are trying to conceive it is stressfull and you get depresses. Its a fun way to say good luck that might make somebody smile. ;-)

Sorry, gals. I'm hoping for another baby and i do find the term babydust kinda annoying. What is baby "dust"? I agree good luck is better!!!

Not really. I think it is sweet. Typically I will tell people Good luck and baby dust! But I only say it when I know they have used the phrase themselves!

Yeah, it would be annoying to me.

In the surrogacy community, they always "rub their pregnant bellies" for good luck, which I think is silly too.

But, most people mean well, even if they come across as silly and not sensitive to real infertility issues.
