We're Jews, and what we do for Christmas usually is go to the movies. There are usually some cute family films this time of year. Also, we have been invited to some friends' Christmas parties and we usually go and have a good time. The rest of the time we hang out at home and just enjoy the downtime.

Well, in my family, we still make a big cook and we watch the Disney parade and maybe a Christmas movie or sometimes if we just want to get away from the whole christmas thing we'd rent non christmas movies or play games or read a book, its just like a normal pubic holiday for us so its no big deal

oh come on folks, I mean 90% of the population of Britain arent actually celebrating anything religious at all. Its just a traditional piss up and celebration now, the date being picked arbitrarily in antiquity to take focus away from winter solstice which pagans celebrated. So given that no one really takes it so seriously why not everyone just enjoy the time of and when in rome .................

I celebrate Yuletide and the Winter Solstice. I don't celebrate christmas.
I bake home made bread and cakes.
I cook the main meal/s
I light candles and burn incense and listen to very atmospheric music.
I acknowlege the suns birthday through ceremony.
I have my family round.
And generally just make merry.

If you don't celebrate Christmas or Hanukkah, just go about your life as usual. I don't always celebrate every holiday. I just do my own thing. Also, why can't you go to the parties and have fun with your friends? Unless people dressed like slutty Santas and mistletoe bother you.
