in all it takes 20-25 min why because it takes about 10-12 min for the water to heat up and another 10-12 min for the egg to boil... to see if it is ready spin the egg on its side if it spins in one spot it is ready.

IT TAKES ABOUT 15 OR 20 MINUTES AFTER THE WATER COMES TO A BOIL THEN U STICK THE EGG IN AND LET IT BOIL THE 15 OR 20 NO MORE OR LESS THOUGH GOOD LUCK
