Typically an inmate is eligible for parole when about 1/3 to 1/2 of their sentance has been served. Normally you end up serving about 1/2 of your sentence.

In the federal court system, an inmate is required to serve at least 85% of the time. If he has no behavior troubles while in there, that's about 19 mo. or about late July 2009.

Likely, most of it. Yes, he's an athlete, but that's not CELEB enough to get reduced sentencing. The Paris Hilton effect isn't going to kick in. Also, his crime was fairly big, and any judge or other government official that allows him to get out early isn't going to see another term in office, due to the politics of the situation. No politician (and yes, judges are politicians) will risk that for him.

he might get one or two months off for good behavior, plus hes already served a few weeks. I would say he will be in the slammer for about 20 more months
