My husband is a prestige player. All you get is a new emblem for your name. You can enter prestige mode 10 times. The only "perk" you get out of prestige is leaderboard rankings.

Each time you complete Prestige mode you earn a new and more elite medal next to your name. You can complete this mode up to 10 times. If you actually manage to do so than the medal next to your name will show that you are a CoD4 god not to be messed with.

you dont get anything for it apart from a new badge u can only enter prestige 10 times

u get an achievement for finishing the epilogue on veteran - don;t think ive encountered prestige mode!
