Being Bush's appointed successor leaves me a bit edgey too since I think Bush has wounded the Republican image by mistakes, miscues, and abandoing fiscal conservatives ideals, and creating a bigger, messier government.

In the debates he seemed to answer less questions, appearing hostile and overbearing toward Rudy and others, aslo insecure and angry when it came to questions as well.

Thats all politicians dear. You think any of them believe half of the crap falling out of their mouths? Its all for a vote, then they end up like Bush.

Bu i agree, Romney is one of my least faves, down there on the list w/ the democrats.

At times he is sharp and display quite a bit of acuity on issues. Other times I see him flounder a bit and wiggle his way out of answering a question.
I do not like politicians who avoid answering questions as ive seen it too much.
I want an honest answer out of people even if its one I dont agree with.

Mitt , in my opinion is certainly not the worst choice, but I prefer more clarity.

No - he appears real, calm, sane and secure. The fact that he didn't back down when Giuliani got in his face shows backbone. I'm not Republican and I don't know who I will end up voting for, but Romney seems as genuine as a politician gets to me.

Romney has been groomed to be President from birth. Let us not forget his papa was Governor of Michigan and that daddy failed in his quest to gain the Whitehouse.

I didn't like him before last week, but after he came right out and said that we need MORE god in the government, I now see him for the danger he is.

My worst fear is that Hillary/Obama will be up against Huckabee/Romney. Great. Either way our government will grow ever larger, we will lose even more freedoms and in the end little will get better.

Just shoot me now.

It is hard for a politician not to appear fake, they all appear to be cardboard figures with bad hair

Getting his Hair to look like Reagans does require an hour.
He is a better actor than the Governor of California though.

All of the questions you ask are perception based. No factual answer can be given, just personal opinion.

He has changed his position on major issues over and over to suit his audience. We're talking seriously bogus here.
