Yes, he does.
He also thinks we should pay for college educations for illegal immigrants & their children.
He also think that rounding up HIV carriers and putting them in camps is a good idea.
And finally he thinks that gays & abortions are our 2 biggest "threats".
Personally, I've had enough of Presidents from Arkansas - of either party.

Depends on if he believes the Word to be literal truth. But Huckabee did say much of the Bible was intended to allegorical and inspirational, so perhaps his views on religion and science can vary.
I believe in God and the Bible but I don't think everything is literal. I think scientist can piece clues together with the evidence we have and come up with a general idea, concept, or surmation on how the Earth and Universe were created. But that doesn't challenge my views on faith either on a side note to the question raised about Creationism and how SOME Christians believe the Earth to be only a few thousand years old. Obviously something this big and created to work and operate on its own took time .... possibly millions and trillions of years to come into its current state and fruition.

Many people who do not fully understand the bible make this claim. See my YA blog that explains this.
Beware of False Prophets

In a nutshell, for we beleivers, no one knows how old Adam and Eve were BEFORE they commited the first sin. They could have been a million years old as the Bible does not clarify the amount of time that elapsed from thier creation untill their sin. The Bible does give time lines (how many years they lived) AFTER their sin which is where people count backward to come up with 6000 or so years. Unfortunately they seem to forget that their age up to the time of their sin is unknown.
I challenge anyone who claims to be a Christian to state how old Adam and Eve were before they sinned.

I am not sure how that would apply to him being President of the United States. It seems to me he should be evaluated on his political positions, past political positions, and past actual decisions involving him as Governor. (These are the reasons I oppose him).
But since he insists on running as the Jesus candidate I think the question is a fair one (since he has given us no choice now but to evaluate him as the Jesus candidate).
He avoids the question when asked (with a "I don't know"...yet we all know he holds some opinion on this) so I think he does indeed believe the earth is around 6000 years old.

You should not necessary think that such a attack is going to hurt him however. There are alot of fundies out there that agree with him, and they (and very few others) will give this man the nomination should he get the nomination. For him to answer that he does not believe that would not benefit but hurt him with his own supporters. (Notice he refused to apologize on his AIDS quote...that too sent a signal to his supporters which they liked...even though the rest of the nation thinks he is nuts).

Most Jewish and Christian, or at least the ones active with their faith, believe that society or man has been around 6k-8k years. Some may believe the world or earth to be that old but most just believe that man is that old and the earth probably older.
This is mainly from tracing lineages in the Bible and corresponding them with other records, like writings by Josephus, Herodotus, and others.

Yes, he said in one of the debates (along with 4 of the 10 Republican candidates) that he believes in a literal 6 day creation that occurred about 6000 years ago.
