No. I'd like to think that I get better as I learn from life. In fact I wasted many years failing to get help for an emotional disorder. I was awful to other people, unable to work well, etc, etc. If I had been less stubborn and arrogant, I could have gotten a handle on the situation long ago.

Yes, I used to be very religious and took an active part in our church. I spent a lot of time working with abused kids in our area and worked with a bus ministry. After my husband & I divorced, I drifted away from my beliefs and now I rarely attend church and I have noticed that I am not as happy as I used to be when I served God & my community.

Depends on what you call "better"

Mentally and Physically better?
Emotionally better?
Nicer?

My quality of life was better before I became a "nicer" person which I've always thought was strange.
