Elle:

My meditation for today is the same as it is on most days, and that is to accept and be at peace with the fact that all things are impermanent, and to use the energy I spend resisting acceptance of that fact to instead relieve the suffering of others.

This is an essential element of Buddhist philosophy. And speaking of Buddhism, recently you asked at what age the Buddha (c. 563 - c. 483 BCE) had achieved his enlightenment. According to Buddhist literature and history, at the age of 35. He spent the next 45 years of his life sharing what he had learned with anyone who would listen to him.

Thank you for asking the question.

I'm really thinking about the current shootings at New Life Church. I go to that church, and we all can see it from my high school. A lot of my friends go there too, and a few of them knew the two girls that have died already. Today, I'm really just focusing on praying for the families, and honestly, trying not to get mad. I know that God will use this whole thing for his purposes, and turn it into something good, but at the same time, I also know that it breaks his heart. He sent his son to die for this person, and he loved this person so so so much, and then this person goes to his place, his house, the sanctuary of his people, and opens fire on his children. Then, this person dies, and God is just so sad that he chose to separate himself from God, because now, that choice is eternal, and he can't change his mind ever, and God's heart is just broken.

Try to use non-locality to defeat special relativity in so far as transfer of classic information by possibly using dissimilar particle entanglement. Possible applications would be FTL quantum computers.

My Meditation is in some ways unique. I combined the traditional form of meditation of taking in deep breaths with a bit of martial arts and dancing. so basically my form of meditation involves me doing my own form of dance that involves a complete control over my limbs and at the same time allowing them to have a certain "flow" in their movements and this is coupled with a deep breathing throughout the exercise. I imagine EVERYTHING around me and in me to be a field of energy that seems to be "flowing" everywhere. i just immerse myself in that flow.

Also when i am in this state, i sorta feel, in a strange way, liquid on the inside, its a weird feeling. but this "liquid" (which i think is energy) i can move at my own will. i can control its intensity in me and its position. so i can concentrate it into one particular part of my body if i want to. which is what i do when i meditate. I basically try to channel my energy down my arm. Im pretty new to this so my proficiency at it is low.

But ive had some amazing experiences with it. after dwelling on this for a while, i arrived at a conclusion that if there is any form of energy anyone can control, its most likely going to be electromagnetic energy, so i decided to test it out. i went into my physics lab and got hold of one of those multimeters we use to measure voltage, current, resistance, etc. I set the dial to Voltage (2000m) and so initially the meter showed 000 (or 0.000 V). When i held it upto my head and concetrated on thinking about some aspects in TOK, i got a reading of 80 (or 0.080 V). when i held it between my fingers, i got a reading of 270! which meant i had nearly 0.3 volts of potential difference across my fingers. i wiped my fingers and stood barefoot on the ground and tried again. This time i got the same reading. In an attempt to validate it, i made my classmates do the same thing and they got between 0- 20 when they held the probes to their temples and between 20 - 30 when they held it in their fingers, this was close to 10 times lower than what i got when i held it. I tried this again after 80 mins only to notice that the reading had dropped to 150-160.

The explanation i have for this is that when i had done it the first time my fingers were stimulated because i had just channeled some energy into them. but after 80 mins of class, i had let enough of that energy to leave my hand so it did not feel as stimulated as before. and that ended up with a lower reading.

I have to warn though that all that i had at first was a feeling. nothing more. i just felt my fingers stimulated. whatever was in me, i felt it and explained it the best way i could, it could be something else as well. but when i do channel it down to my fingers, they become stimulated and alert. my sense perception around my palm and fingers increases tremendously and i feel slight vibrations at my finger tips. This is what it tested out with the voltmeter. and the only explanation that i could come up with is that my meditation has allowed me to control myself and my internal energies to this extent.
