I had a toy called a gym gym, at least that is what we called it. it may have ben called a jungle gym but maybe not. it was a red self standing bar about 6ft high it came with a wooden rope swing and wood and rope ladder, we would often sit on top of the bars and hang by our legs from it. it was our favorite toy to play with. that and my rocking bouncing horse. my easy bake oven, and my poodle radio, it look like and felt like a stuffed toy poodle but it had a radio built in it. I lost it at my uncles farm house. it was never found. wow so many good childhood memories, thank you Ocnbreez2 for asking this question I only wish I had pictures of me with my favorite toys from the past. hey I got an idea, I'm going to take pictures of my boys playing with their favorite toys this christmas. I never had a doll before or a doll house, I was so deprived. you think its too late to get one now. I was a child of the 60's . if i got one now it would have to be an antique otherwise people would laugh at me for having a doll house at my age.

I remember having a bionic woman doll. My Barbie corvette had an 8-track player, and my ez-bake oven was orange, yellow and brown--THE colors of the 70's.

I think it was called Pong, the electronic game you hooked to your TV and played table tennis. We spent hours playing board games such as Racko and Clue. Red Flying saucer sleds for the winter and then the blue roll up things became popular. Strawberry Shortcake dolls in the later 70's(for my nieces). Great stuff that we had to use our imagination to play with!
