Your wife wants to know or YOU want to know? My guess is the latter. If you have a wife, then she is old enough to marry which means she should have visited a Gynecologist years ago for check ups. When a young girl becomes a young adult, it's recommended.

It is called a speculum. I don't know if you can buy them. I guess you could try a medical supply place or maybe even a sex shop.
