I recently read an article which stated;

"The loss of Michael Vick is a devastating blow to the morale and regimen of the Atlanta Falcons."

Well, for a QB who averaged less than one complete touchdown pass thrown a week, sounds very devastating.

This board is about to get flooded with misspelled, ignorant comments about his running yards. If you don't score, do they really matter? Anybody can find a hole in a defense line and run, he's just good at it from the lack of a TV set on his shoulder, making him faster.

Michael Who?

I have as much respect for him as I do for Mike Tyson.

Losers....

The world and the NFL will do just fine without that cowardly dog killer.

I've also lost alot of respect for the African-American community because they always seem to look past the crimes and want the idiot freed just because he is BLACK.

They are all racist hypocrites!!!

well look at the Falcons record without Vick. whether you like him or not, the facts are he won a lot of football games for the Falcons. yeah his completion percentage and passing yards were low. but all that matters is if you win football games or not. he took the Falcons into Lambeau Field and won a playoff game in 32 degree temperature. something a QB has never done. and he turned that franchise around winning a lot of games.
but he did wrong and he and the Falcons organization are suffering the consequences

it all boils down to one think. VICK IS AN IDIOT.
how can you be so stupid. Millions of dollars and not a single brain cell. I will never understand why rich football players and celebrities insist on doing stupid things. I'm just glad he got some time, and not a slap on the wrist like most of the time. And if he really had the need for dog fighting, go to a country where it's legal......idiot had the cash

And the good news is,
After Vick serves his 23 months Federal time, he faces 5 years per dog state time.

Let's see, 10 dogs tortured * 5 years/dog=Vick where he belongs.

See? The system actually _does_ work.

He was more of a rushing QB then a Passing QB and his receiving corp was one of the worst in the NFL that would explain the low passing numbers. He was also the leader of the team.

And no not everyone can find a hole in the D-line and run its not as easy as it sounds to play in the NFL.

I was just tired of seeing him on TV last night during the game. They were all acting like he died. They had more coverage of Vick than they did of Sean Taylor. For GOD sakes he is a criminal and your wearing things that say MV7 under your eye and t-shirts that say free vick. Oh my GOD!

Look. He got his punishment. Get over it. Stop whining. People act like because he was caught dogfighting he committed the worst crime in history and he was the worst player in the NFL.

Edit: lol they need to catch sexy rexy in a dogfighting scandal and tell him never to come back to the NFL

Wah!!! I'm tired of hearing about Michael Vick..... He got what he deserved. Nothing more, nothing less. Dog lovers or not, he lied, killed and screwed up his only chance at making amends for something that is ILLEGAL......

you were doing fine untl that last sentence....no need for that whatsoever...it makes YOU look ignorant. he will be missed as far as being a leader, but there are better quarterbacks for the atlanta falcons skill-wise.
