What criteria should I use to select a company to design my website?

1 - if your site is about advertiseing your products , use top graphical designers and order to design your product catalog in animation (flash design)

but flash designed sites are not good to serach engines .
google and yahoo cant find your flash content . so your site will not be viewed in google .

2 - nowa days text and graphic designes are top designs. the are good to google and visitors too.

3 - if you wanna update your site daily or weekly , install a cms in your site to have a dynamic site , in stead of designing a static site .

Cost is obviously pretty high up most people's list!

The easiest way is to go to their own website, see what you think of that. Remember this will be show casing their talents though and will probably be over the top. However most design studios will have a portfolio section where you can view other sites they have designed, these are the ones to look at.

If you like the designs that is a plus obviously. Also look for sites that list the original requirements. That gives you an idea of how well the designer stuck to the customers specification rather than running away and designing something he wanted.

Hi,

If I were you I would not choose a company. There are plenty of freelancers out here who would be more than capable of creating a site for you, plus you would get a better price than you would if you used a company.

I would suggest doing a google on "freelance website designers"

Peruse their portfolios, you will find the right person!

If web site contains u r personal information then search for personal websites in google u will get more information. If u have u r doing some business the plz. specify it I will give u an idea.
