Wanda is a pretty name but i would not have minded being called Jolene. My name is a little similar in pronounciation.... thats a big word may not be correct spelling

Jolene is probably gettin a tad old these days..she's probably hangin around old peoples homes clinging to her youth by a bare thread. However in her day she really put out didn't she. Sounds like a desperate scrubber to me....

You know.....I was named after that song (No, my name isn't actually Wanda) and when I saw my name on you question title I almost spit coffee all over my computer!
To this day I still cringe when I hear it sung.
Don't worry though.....I'm not a man stealer.
