Because you will have conflict if you install another antivirus, I suggest that you run Trend Micro House Call.

There is no conflict, as their server will scan and kill any an all viruses found. Follow instructions, and complete the scan.\\

What exactly is "my page"? Do you mean it is only happening on one specific web-page?

If you are constantly getting an alert about a Trojan on the same page, it means that page is infected, Norton is doing it's job by protecting you and doing it well, in that case. I would notify the web-master of that web-site...perhaps an ad-server on the site has been compromised.

Those alerts are not just there to annoy you. They are there to warn you of a danger to your computer.

Disabling warning alerts only treats the symptom and not the root cause. It is like treating brain cancer with a couple of aspirin!

Another unknown user of Answers put it better than I can:

"yeah why not just get rid of all your protection software and that way you won't get "annoyed" by those stupid programs telling you your computer is at risk and could potentially become unstable or unuseable. Then about every other month, you can reformat your hard drive, lose all your files, programs and settings, and atsrt over again. OR, follow the prompts to get protected."

Good luck.

First of all you still have the virus. Viruses are made now to reproduce after they get removed. The only real way to get rid of it is to track down the virus and change the coding or to reboot your computer. Also try to fix it really fast because thats not only a virus it is spyware and spyware keeps track of everything you type into your computer, takes pictures of your screen and send it to the computer that gave you the virus so if you do not remove the virus fast they may steal all your info and sell it to other people and make lots of money.

This sounds like adware, smitfraud or a trojan causing these popups.
Try installing and running SUPERAntiSpyware: http://www.superantispyware.com/

It is free and highly effective.
If that does not work, try using Vundo and Smitfraudfix - these types of popups are often caused by the Vundo or Zlob trojan's.
They are both effective and removing these.
