Yes, they use the same calendar everyone else does. They also have a second of July and a third of July, among others.

Assuming you don't just mean the date itself...

Just take a minute to think about what you said there. What does the US celebrate on the 4th of July? Independence. From England. Why would England celebrate that - and more importantly when exactly did England win independence from England?

England and Britain as a whole have never had long-lasting revolutions, nor won independence from anyone. As a result we don't have a founding, independence or even a real national day.

Wow, most of you people did NOT get the joke here, obviously.

Yes, England DOES have a 4th of July. They also have a July 5th and 6th.

I guess you need to work on your history studies. The 4th of July is the celebration of our independence from England.

Well yes they have a fourth of July. It's just not independents day . Or any other country for that matter. Just US independents.

Props to the person who said we call it "Thanksgiving". Very nice!

Actually the nearest to "independence day" we have is Guy Fawkes Night, November 11th, when we celebrate the Gunpowder Plot with bonfires and fireworks. It's not a public holiday though, everyone works a full day.

Otherwise no, we have never needed to earn our independence from anyone.

We don't celebrate the 4th July. (Unless you're in my family, in which case you do, as it's my aunt's birthday)
