They want Kosovo to be independent, yet they keep harrassing the ETA... I think it's because the Kosovars, or UCK, are more pro-europe than the ETA. The Basque people deserve their independence !
EU are the real terrorists... And don't come with bombings and all that, the UCK of Kosovo even waged full scale war...

As an Albanian from Kosovo, i have big respects for Basque case, and I can wish you every luck you need in creating your state.Both, Albanians and Basque people suffered so long, in their way of creating independent state.They have a lot of common things, like their languages which are oldest in this old Europe, both fought for a long time with nations that are known as a cruel and without humanity.

Euskadi (Basque country) deserves independance. No question about that.
But it´s true that you raise the issue of an "uneven treatment".
Regarding the ETA, I would rather see the basque independance coming from their major political party which is also democratic.
At this point of the political fight, the ETA hurts more the movement for their independance than it helps.
BTW: the EU has done a lot for minorities and minority languages, much more than national state. I think it is unfair to blame the EU for a policy still largely decided by large individual member states.

PS There are no KosovaRs, they are not separate nation as Basque people, never been in history. You have Kosovo (serbian province) and Serbs/Albanians from Kosovo.

UCK is supported by muslims and EU supports everybody ( they are paid 4that ), who is harassing peace in non EU countries. Vatican is supporting them too, their war against orthodox Serbs and every orthodox nation is fought by muslims.
If Kosovo was in catholic / protestant / nonorthodox country, that would be something else ( like unlucky Basks )
That way they can ruin Serbian economy and buy existing factories and companies very cheap.
