im vietnamese. Ive noticed when english people say theyre "25% aristocrat" or have royal blood english people (usually working class) get offended and say they broke out of psycho ward or they are idiots. is it because they say theyre trying to say theyre better than them? well arent they. what have working class people ever done? they have labour which ruined the education system in the past, bring in immigrants, get drunk and vomit everywhere, grow up without married parents (bastards). ruined the british car industry through riots. while all that is being done the elite were doing all the best inventions and writings are the best and fittest soldiers and generally work alot harder making them superior. why be jealous?

Because I don't believe the fact that your great great great great great great grandfather kissed up to the king makes you a better person.

Working class people have done EVERYTHING. Without them aristocrats would have NOTHING. Not one iota. Who worked in the fields for them? Who worked in the factories? Who gave them support when others wanted to take over their lands? Who fought and died in stupid petty little wars led by aristocrats with as much tactical sense as a stunned penguin? The working class.

Who feasted while they starved, ate the fruits of their labour and gave them nothing in return, who sent them to war to die in some foreign field and who, no matter how much they gave, was never even remotely thankful? The "nobles".

Why don't you read some history. How, precisely, did labour "ruin" the education system? Unless of course you mean making education free and accessable for all is "ruining" it - which is what the Whigs did. Why did the working class bring in immigrants? How is it in THEIR interest to have new people who will work for lower wages take away their jobs? It was the aristocrats who wanted new people to exploit who brought in immigrants. What gives YOU the right to think you are superior to labour and their supporters - this is a democratic country, and labour are our democratic government voted in by the people, not supported by a nepotistic and corrupt regime of "my father knows the Duke of Devon, so I can be an MP!"

And as for "getting drunk and vomiting everywhere" have you EVER been to a hunt ball? 100% attended by the 'upper echelons' - and they are the most vile, rude, rowdy drunken lot you could ever not wish to meet. And they are the CREAM of British society! Looks like the upper classes aren't quite the high and mighty teetotalers you make them out to be! As for it being the CHILDREN'S fault for their parents not being married - how utterly ridiculous can you get. How many 3 year old marriage coucillors do you know? But of course - there has never been a bastard in the history of the upper class in Britain. All those illigitimate children of Charles II (about 14) were of course lies made up by popish plotters, Osama Bin Laden and communists.

Did it ever cross your mind as to WHY the "elite" were writing all the literature? Because they were the ones with an education. It would be quite hard for Dickens to write his novels if he'd spent the previous 18 hours down a coal mine, and had only received the most incredibly basic of educations now wouldn't it? If you had stopped being taught ANYTHING at the age of 8 it might be quite hard for you to understand Proust and conjugate Latin verbs mightn't it?

So that is why the upper classes are not better. Because they rode on the backs of other people's work, and gained HUGE profits simply for the fact that their best mate was the one with the big army and a crown.

Lol.

You do realise you have just described what the aristocracy do, don't you. Apart from the "labour" bit

"bring in immigrants, get drunk and vomit everywhere, grow up without married parents (bastards). ruined the british car industry through riots."

Have you every actually MET an English aristocrat?

Have you ever seen how hard the children of the aristocracy work? No, because they don't work, they have no value to society at all. They spend money as a career. The only thing superior about aristocratic blood, is the shred of genetics they got from a great, great, great grandfather that invented condoms or something.

What people say to you they are aristocratic then? As not many people who are aristocratic are so pompous as to say they are to people. Are you mixing in silly groups. You have a lot of issues with the working class. Do you feel better that you let them be aired? Good.

Every group of people believe they are better than the other group. Some people are just more vocal about it.

Personally I think nearly everyone brings something good and something bad...

Life is life, we weren't meant to live in such large groups so things are bound to break down...

I see you read the sun newspaper, but that aside, your an uneducated, misguided, fool that should read a little history and you will find that the 'working classes' are the backbone of the british economy.

Can't say I have ever come across the problem. Wherever you go there will be people believing they are better than they are. Be happy with your lot, its far less painful in the end.

"It would be quite hard for Dickens to write his novels if he'd spent the previous 18 hours down a coal mine..." I think you should study Dickens' early life, really I do.
