Neither. Come on now. We aren't wise-cracks nor philosophers! At least if you're earnest, you aren't a pseudo-intellectual. Furthermore, I really think the term "philosopher" is rightfully reserved for the PhD academic philosopher who has put in 5-11 years into their dissertation and study and has or will publish books.
I am of the conservative thought that we don't call ourselves "doctors" because we know a thing or two about health and medicine. Likewise, the same respect should be given to philosophers and their territory, unless of course you are a real philosopher employed by a credible and accredited college or university and/or publishing or published.
Please don't abuse the term.

Mortimer Adler states We are all endowed with the proclivity to philosophize.
Everyday we philosophize, the time we get up, if we get up, if we hear a news report of a convict being executed, whether we believe this is justice or not.
If you aren't being lame, pick up the book Six Great Ideas by M. Adler. You will enjoy.
