Yeah - it happened last week at a tournament outside of Toronto.
These are AAA players - most of who's coaches and parents are living their own dreams and THEIR kid is going to the NHL.
Costs a small fortune to play at this level and teams have budgets in the tens of thousands.
Mind you - a player must be skilled and have a 'sense' for the game. At best 5% can move on to Varsity - minor or overseas leagues. The move to the NHL is something like .0001 give or take a zero.
But they are gifted for the most part and should be able to enjoy the great game for many years.
The coaches are and have been held accountable.
Even with good body checking allowed - the game can be played in it's pure form of speed and skill with zero violence.
Our high school leagues - excellent calibre - enforce zero tolerance most efficiently.
The respect and enjoyment on the ice and in the STANDS is terrific and attainable.
Long winded - but close to my heart.
Oh - more then a scuffle - bench clearing brawl - sent by coaches- and more disgusting behaviour, fortunately at that age the players couldn't do much damage.

Try to keep things in perspective. It was a bunch of kids pushing and shoving each other while wearing a BUNCH of padding. Nobody got hurt. Go to any school yard and see how often kids get in much worse fights than this.
The idiot coaches were reprimanded for allowing and/or encouraging it and I doubt if they will ever be allowed to coach again.
I imagine the news coverage is due to the fact they are getting tired of beating the same dead-horse news stories, even if this one is getting old, it's something other than same old - same old.
Sammy, kids playing on a sheet of ice is never going to account for the world's most violent theatre. You need to watch the news in its entirety or not watch at all. I don't understand how you can view hockey as nothing other than a forum of rage and miss the game all together. It is a great game that you obviously do not understand, nor do you have any desire to understand it. Seriously, what motivates you to come into the hockey section and criticize the game and it's fans when you have no other interest in the game?
Sorry to have interrupted your question.

i might say I believe numbers 4 and 5 a million) i myself do no longer understand sufficient approximately this subject remember to agree or disagree. 2) If by potential of "the music marketplace," you recommend significant checklist labels, sure. The have the prefer to generate income, no longer sell artists. 3) basically because of the fact the employer creates them does no longer mean that folk ought to hearken to them. 4 and 5 are easily correct. Even i'm accountable of style 5. i think of that rap sucks, yet that is because of the fact what I pay attention is 50 Cent and Souljah Boy. If that is all that is accessible so some distance as rap is going, then yeah, it sucks. i'm effective there is greater desirable stuff accessible, yet i'm basically no longer digging for it. relatively, there is a great quantity of stuff accessible, yet you basically ought to understand the place to get it. the real situation is people do no longer look previous the secure weight-reduction plan of crap that comes from the foremost labels and radio stations.

First, are you surprised the media groups that were in bed with Bush & company from that start manage to find other things to talk about than how dumb he and his cronies are or how badly they're running things?
Second, this is more than a week old. If this is running as a part of main news, the news agency you are watching is obviously not telling you something even biger. You may want to change where you get your news.
Lastly, it's way overblown. Kids fight. You went to school. You should know this. Ask yourself why they are reporting it when they don't normally cover hockey or news from Canada.
Rejoice for the last 12 months of the 4th reich is at hand.
