YES! I, personally have gotten pregnant on Depo twice, but I am extremely fertile apparently. It all depends on if this was your fist injection, or one of many. If it was your first, it can take up to two months for the hormones to completely get into your system, which is wh the tell you to use condoms as well, which you should always be doing anyways. It is only 98.999% eaffective under the absolute best of conditions, and that does sound pretty damn effective, but someone always has to be that one percent, and when you consider how many people use this birth control, the numbers of pregnancy are actually pretty high. The only sure way to prevent pregnancy, is no sex at all, but if you are going to do it, double up on your birth control (IE: condom + Depo) as no birth control is 100%. You need to wait about three weeks to a month, and take a pregnancy test, as with depo alot of women get no period, so you will not be able to use that as a starting point. Hope this helps.

I really don't think so that 99.9 percent is usually very effective
if you do get pregnant is because it was meant for you to be and the child would be a miracle and a blessing..but if you really really don't want to take that chance condoms with the depo is 100 percent effective.. good luck.

Abstinence is the only sure bet. I have a friend who got pregnant on Depo~Provera (the shot). It's best to use a condom also, just in case.

Depo-Provera:
- can require up to fourteen days to take effect. This means pregnancy can occur within fourteen days of the first Depo injection.
- takes seven days to take effect if given after the first four days of the period cycle. Effective immediately if given during the first four days of the period cycle.
- offers no protection against Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
- is about 99.7% effective when used correctly (timing of shots)

however you have been probable ovultating at that factor, you're probable not pregnant as long through fact the condom stayed intact. in case you're very apprehensive, wait 2 weeks from the day you had intercourse, and take a being pregnant try. you should purchase this contained in the drug save for style of $10.00. i could desire to upload, that's particularly useful to refrain from having intercourse returned till you sense greater waiting to handle the flair outcomes.

ANY TIME you have sex you risk the chance of pregnancy.
Depo is 99% effective, like the pills/ring/etc.
So you do have a chance of pregnancy.

99.9% implies a .1% chance of getting pregnant.
That means it would almost take a miracle for you to get pregnant
