Mild cramping in the lower part of your abdomin is fairly common in pregnancy. I want to stress the word MILD though, because if these cramps you're feeling are intense then you should absolutely contact your doctor about them. My OBGYN told me at my first appointment that i should not be alarmed if I find myself dealing with some mild cramping and aches and such because a lot is going on inside right now, and with the increase in hormones I'm more likely to be sensitive to them. He was sure to caution me to contact him immediately should I have intense cramping or any spotting at all.
As far as the back ache.......make sure to mention it to your doctor at your next appointment but i don't think its worth a special call myself.
Good luck and contgrats!!!

I am 11 weeks and have been having HORRIBLE lower back pain 24/7, as well as pretty bad on and off lower abdominal cramping. I had a routine OB/GYN appointment today and saw my baby moving all around and heard it's strong heart beat, so I know all is well and so I assume all of the aches and pains are just normal, so I'm sure you are fine. As long as you aren't heavily bleeding or having unbearable abdominal cramping, I think all is well. Good luck!

Don't worry about being a pain to your doctor. Call him when you're concerned! And definitely call about the back pain and cramping.
Good luck.

It's very normal to get "pains" in your tummy and back as everything is stretching in there. But if the pains get bad or have any bleeding go see your doctor. I hope all is ok.

Alot of women get cramping, but very mild. I would call your obgyn and get it checked, just to make sure. It probably isn't anything but better be safe than sorry. Congrads on the new baby!

See your gynaecologist without delay. There is nothing to be gained by not going and the gyno may be able to arrest an impending miscarriage. Good luck.

You must call your Dr. Of course, there's nothing they could really do other than put you on bed rest at this point. What you're describing sounds like contractions or something. Call your Dr. this morning please!

it is a bit early in pregnancy to feel so much pain, call your obgyn just to be safe.
