What did he file for as a reason for the divorce? Maybe he had been trying to tell you there were problems and you couldn't get it? It takes two to make or break a marriage. Maybe he's just fed up and can't take whatever anymore, it doesn't necessarily mean there has to be another woman like 99% of the women on here suggest.

Boy, you poor kid!.. I feel for you.. I know how lying 'sacks' husbands are. I had my ex pull the same number.. I think whatever I said/complained about was giving him his 'ammo' man.. (I must have thought up some swell ****..if he luved using every line of it, huh?) Yeah, the lawyers.. those *********** will drain ya. God, I don't know what to tell ya.. I guess it depends on the reasons. All the other answers written make sense to me.. You know your situation.. (and good luck! Hope you find a real sweetheart of a guy, hon.)

There is a reason, he's just not an honest man to tell you. I would suggest you get a good lawyer and get your half and get counseling to help you through all this. Are there kids involved? I'm sorry this has happened to you. I think a lot of people do not know how to be honest and the outcome of that shows up later in relationships. Good luck to you and whatever you do do not take all the responsibility on yourself.

Try to make the best outcome for it. Trying to talk will not change his mind. He made his choice for whatever reason and I'm sure he is not willing to change it. If you feel you wish claim for compensation then feel free to do so as I'm sure you invested alot of time and effort into your marriage and deserve some financial help in starting your new life. Try to make the best out of this and move on the best you can. In the end thats all you can do.

I can give you a reason....another woman.....No one walks away unless they think they are walking toward something better. He won't tell you cause he's a coward. A real man would stand up to his actions but he's got to run like a little *****. . I know your instinct tells you he is having a affair but your heart won't let you believe he threw you away for another. Guess what? i've been there. I know how it feels. . .

elvlayarvvi....good to see you you like to hear the whole side of a story before calling someone a loser. No situation or anything was presented to us here but you first reaction is take him for everything he is a loser. And we wonder why the system is so bad. It's people like you and your crappy attitude. Trust me some people are told and just dont want to see it. There is nothing here to make your assumption.

He is seeing someone else, and is embarrassed or afraid to discuss it. Maybe he thinks that the courts and you will go lighter on him if he does not admit to an affair.
